Rain Stops Play At Yale Spring Opener

New Haven, CT - As rain poured down on The Course at Yale on Saturday, 54 out of 115 golfers participating in the Yale Spring Opener managed to finish their scheduled 18 holes. Yet as the rain became heavier, greens and fairways flooded, and play ceased for the day.

Play will resume tomorrow morning in the form of a one-day, 18-hole tournament. All scores from Saturday will be erased.
