2009-10: Third on squad with 37 points... Fourth on team with 25 assists and 18 of those were primary helpers... Fifth with 12 goals... Hit the net twice against Quinnipiac and twice in 3-2 win over North Dakota in NCAA Northeast Regional... Points in 26 of 34 games.
2008-09: Led Yale with 22 assists and most of them led directly to goals because of great passes... Skated in every game... Tallied two game-winning goals... Had a pair of seven-game point streaks and one six-game string... Four-game goal streak.
2007-08: Led all freshmen in assists... Played in all 34 games... Finished with 8-14-22... Tied for first on the team in assists, third in goals and third in points... One power-play goal, one short-handed goal and one game-winning goal... Had a five-game point streak... Received the Martin Dwyer III Award (along with Broc Little) as the most outstanding first-year player... Had two assists on 2/16 in a 5-2 victory over ECAC powerhouse Clarkson... Capped off a comeback 3-3 tie with rival Harvard with the game-tying goal (11/28).
Before Yale: Attended Hanover High School for three years before moving to Bishop Brady High School his senior year... Tallied 137 points in three years at Hanover High... Earned all-state honors his sophomore and junior seasons... In 2003 and 2005, his team won the high school state championship... Also was the starting third baseman in baseball for three years... Played for the NH Junior Monarchs in the EJHL and finished second in the league in scoring in 2006-07... Helped his team to two league championships.
Personal: Dennis Patrick James Kearney, son of Tom and Jill Kearney, is a member of Pierson College... His sister, Hannah, went to the 2006 Olympics and was 2005 World Champion in Mogul Skiing... Political science major.
