NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The 2011-12 edition of Yale men's hockey is unveiled Saturday night at David S. Ingalls Rink when the Bulldogs host the University of Waterloo at 7 p.m. Tickets are available for this exhibition contest and can be purchased by calling 203.432.1400.

Yale, coming off a 28-7-1 season and an ECAC Tournament Championship, is ranked ninth in the two major polls despite not playing a game. The fact that the Bulldogs have advanced to two straight NCAA Regional finals may have something to do with it.

The Bulldogs, led by captain Brian O'Neill (Yardley, Pa.), have a Blue-White Scrimmage at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday in preparation for defending both the ECAC and Ivy League titles. Yale's regular season gets underway next Friday afternoon in Hanover, N.H., against Princeton in the Ivy Shootout.

Waterloo, 3-1 heading into Thursday's game against Windsor, is averaging 5.25 goals per game. The Warriors, who led the Ontario University Athletic Conference with 706 penalty minutes last year, have a 3.50 team goals against average this season. Waterloo, which plays at Brown on Sunday, finished 18-14-1 last year.

The Ingalls Rink ticket office will open at 5:30 on Saturday.
