Agostino Named Player of the Week
Sophomore Gets ECAC Honor
ALBANY, N.Y. – Kenny Agostino (Flanders, NJ) has been named ECAC Hockey Player of the Week after hitting the net three times and handing out two assists in a pair of Yale hockey wins last weekend.
Agostino, a sophomore forward with 13 goals and 28 points this winter, scored a goal in Yale's 5-3 win over Dartmouth on Feb. 17 before netting two and helping on two others in the Bulldogs' 7-1 beating of Harvard the next night.
This is the third conference honor for a Yale player this season and the second (Brian O'Neill) "player of the week" selection.
Agostino, coming off the five-point weekend, ranks 26th in Division I this year with .52 goals per game, while his 1.12 points average is 30th overall.
