Bulldogs To Face Quinnipiac in Quarters
ALBANY, N.Y. – Two of Yale's three seniors were honored today as All-ECAC Hockey selections. Jesse Root (Pittsburgh, Pa.) made the second team while Kenny Agostino (Flanders, NJ) was a third-team pick.
Root, earning his first conference post-season honors, is Yale's leading scorer with 14 goals and 37 points in 30 games. The captain of the Bulldogs, he ranks 12th in Division I with 1.23 points per contest, while Root earned first-team All-Ivy League honors this winter.
Agostino, a second-team All-ECAC selection in 2012-13, is tied for the team lead with 14 goals while his 32 points are second. The Eli forward ranks among the top 15 Yale players in career goals (56, 12th), assists (76, 10th) and points (132, 9th).
