2014-15: Missed first part of season with injury but returned to notch goals in three straight games… Finished with six goals and 10 points in 25 games… Had two game-winners.

2013-14: Played in all 33 games... One goal (Sacred Heart) and 13 points... Half of his assists came in conference games... ECAC Hockey All-Academic Team.

2012-13 (National Championship Season): Played in 34 games... Had two goals and three points against Harvard at home in January... His seven goals tied for best among the Yale sophomore class, his 13 points were second.

2011-12: Played in just over half the games... Three goals and five points... Scored first goal in 2-1 OT playoff win at Harvard.

Off the Ice:

Before Yale: Born and raised playing hockey in Florida… Left home state at age 17… Played last two winters for New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs… 2010-11 Eastern Junior Hockey League MVP… Scored 56 goals with 129 points in 89 games over two seasons… Led team in points (fourth in the league) both years… Helped Monarchs win two league titles… GPA topped 4.0 in high school… National Honor Society… Student body government.

Personal: Trent Gregory Ruffolo (pronounced rough-a-LOW) is the son of John and Kelly Ruffolo… Worked as a hockey referee during the summer… Maternal grandfather played basketball at Rollins College… First Floridian on a Yale men’s hockey roster.
