Elis Busy This Summer
There isn’t much hockey being played but current and former Yale players are still very active this summer. Eight current Bulldogs were taking part in NHL development camps while a few alumni were signing new deals with professional organizations.

21 Bulldogs Earn Academic All-ECAC Hockey
The grades have been calculated. The cumulative grade-point averages have updated, and 21Yale men’s hockey players have numbers higher than an average goalie’s goals against. Actually, that means more than three quarters of the 2013-14 team, including four-time selections Gus Young and Jesse Root, owns a GPA of 3.0 or better and have earned Academic All-ECAC Hockey honors.

Tickets on Sale For Liberty Invitational
Prudential Center today announced that it will host the second annual Liberty Hockey Invitational on Friday, Oct. 31, and Sunday, Nov. 2, featuring the 250th meeting between Princeton and Yale, plus first-time participants Connecticut and Merrimack.

Baseggio Promoted by Ducks
Dave Baseggio ’89 is the only Yale graduate currently working in the front office of a National Hockey League team. The former Bulldog defenseman was promoted by the Anaheim Ducks from director of professional scouting to assistant to the general manager earlier this week.
