Brosnihan Named ECAC Player of Week

Senior forward Patrick Brosnihan (Worcester, Mass.) was named ECAC Hockey Player of the Week today after netting two big goals on the road last weekend in a pair of wins for the No. 7 Yale men's hockey team.
Brosnihan, who has five goals and seven points this year, scored goals in both games last weekend including the game-winner against RPI, a one-timer off a Charles Brockett feed.
His goal at Union, which put the Blue ahead to stay in the first period, finished off his best weekend as a collegian. Brosnihan, Yale's tallest player at 6-foot-5, earned his first conference honor.
First-place Yale (19-5-1, 14-3-1 ECAC)travels to Quinnipiac and Princeton this weekend for a pair of conference games.
