BLUE HISTORY

Yale has won its first ECAC Hockey regular season title since 1997-98. The Bulldogs, who have never won a conference tournament championship, host a best-of-three quarterfinal series on March 13-15 at Ingalls Rink. All three games will be 7 p.m. faceoffs. The Elis, picked seventh in both ECAC pre-season polls, have their first playoff bye since 2002-03 (3rd place). This is just the third time Yale has earned an automatic quarterfinal spot; the first came in 1997-98.
