Yale Wins NEILA Title

Bulldogs Top Voting For Regional Supremacy

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's lacrosse team was voted New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Champions when the final poll was conducted earlier this week. The Bulldogs, who went 6-0 against NEILA opponents, had the top spot in the rankings for eight straight weeks.

No. 13 Yale, which earned a spot on its fourth straight Ivy League Tournament, begins defense of its 2012 conference tournament by facing Penn Friday at 5 p.m. in the first semifinal at Ithaca.

The Elis (9-4 overall) look to make the NCAA Tournament for a second straight season.
