Bulldogs Play First 2 Games

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The two-time defending Ivy League Lacrosse Tournament Champions concludes its fall season with the annual Christian Prince Memorial Tournament. The Yale men's team hosts the three-team event at Reese Stadium on Oct. 13 starting at 10:30.

The Bulldogs, led by senior captain Jimmy Craft, take on Quinnipiac in the opener, with the Bulldogs playing Albany at 12:15. Albany squares off against the Bobcats at 2 in the finale. Games will be four 20-minute running quarters.

Admission is free but there will be people collecting donations ($5 suggested) for parking to benefit the Christian Prince Scholarship Fund.

The Yale team votes for one player to wear the No. 27 jersey, which was last worn by Christian Prince '93.  This honor typically goes to the player who worked the hardest (exemplifying Christian's play) during fall practices.

The Elis, coming off two straight NCAA Tournament appearances -and nearly an upset of Syracuse in the 2013 quarterfinals – get their final fall tune-up with the tournament.
