3 Senior Midfielders Picked

BOSTON, Mass. – While the No. 3/4 Yale Lacrosse team was in Atlanta preparing to play Michigan last weekend, Major League Lacrosse had its collegiate draft. Three Bulldogs, Jack Tigh, John Daniggelis and Joseph Sessa, were selected between the third and fifth rounds.

Tigh, who had a goal and an assist in the 17-11 win over the Wolverines, went in the third round (24th overall) to New York. He is a senior midfielder with 70 career goals who has earned first-team All-Ivy and All-New England honors.

New York also selected Daniggelis, another senior midfielder and the captain of the Elis, with the 33rd pick. The All-Ivy player has 4 goals and 5 points this season, helping his squad to three straight wins heading into this Saturday's matchup against No. 3/4 Cornell at Reese Stadium.

The 38th pick came from Florida, which selected Sessa, who has 75 points as an All-Ivy and All-New England midfielder.
