Notes: David Schecter returns as one of the top midfielders in the Ancient Eight. At Yale 2005: Schecter earned second-team All-Ivy status after a second productive season. He scored 13 goals and had seven assists for 20 points, which was fourth best on the team. Schecter scooped up 20 ground balls and had just three penalties. 2004: He started all 14 games for the Bulldogs and tied for fifth in goals (12) and points (23), while he was third in assists (11). Schecter recorded a three-goal game in Yale's 9-2 victory over Vermont 2003: Schecter scored six goals, including two against Quinnipiac and two against Lehigh. He also had five assists. At Pine Crest School: Schecter was a four-year letterman in lacrosse and football, and captained the lacrosse team for two years. As a senior, he led his team to a state championship. He was a three-time first-team all-league selection, a two-time All-American, and the MVP of the Florida state championship game. Personal: Schecter was born on July 29, 1983, to Mark and Karen Schecter. He is a member of Trumbull College who is majoring in economics.
