Casertano Earns Academic Honor

Yale senior lacrosse player Tyler Casertano has been named a second-team academic All-American by ESPN The Magazine and the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).

Casertano, who played in the May 23 USILA North-South All-Star Game at Harvard, has a 3.71 GPA as a history major. He ranked 36th in Division I with 2.93 points per game and 25th with 1.50 assists and was named first-team All-New England and second-team All-Ivy this spring. The Yale attackman led the Blue with 41 points and 21 assists.

Casertano begins work this summer as a sales and trading analyst at Credit Suisse in New York City.
