Williams has outstanding athletic tools and will look to re-establish himself as one of the Ivy League's elite strikers. He earned honorable mention All-Ivy recognition last fall after finishing fourth on the team in goals (3) and points (7). One of his goals was the game-winner in a 1-0 victory over Fairfield. Williams enjoyed an outstanding sophomore season when he earned first team All-Ivy and second team All-New England honors after leading the Ivy League in points with 24 and tying for the league lead in goals with 10. He was named the Ivy League Player of the Week following his performance against Cornell when he scored two goals, including the game-winner, and also was selected to the Yale Classic all-tournament team. As a freshman, he tied for third on the team in scoring with seven points, despite being limited to 13 games because of injury. For his efforts, he was named honorable mention All-Ivy. In the season opener against Harvard he scored twice and as a result was named the Ivy League Rookie of the Week. At the Columbus Academy, Williams was the Ohio Division III Player of the Year. He also was a first team all-district and first team all-state selection.
