Before Yale: First team all-state selection as a senior at Detroit Country Day School... Earned honorable mention all-state recognition in 2007... Two-time all-district, all-region and all-area honoree... Helped lead Detroit Country Day to state championships in 2005 and 2007... Also played for the Vardar Soccer Club.

Personal: Spent 10 days in Costa Rica volunteering in a refugee camp, in a medical clinic and a vacation bible school/soccer camp.
