2007: Took a leave of absence from Yale.
2006: Fourth on the team in goals (2) and points
(6)... Named the Ivy League Player of the Week after scoring twice
and adding an assist in a victory over Columbia... Also had an
assist against Cornell. 2005: Earned honorable
mention All-Ivy recognition... Led the team in assists with four
and finished third in points with eight... Started the final 16
games of the season... First career point was an assist against
American in the Yale Soccer Classic which helped him earn a berth
on the all-tournament team... Named the Ivy League Rookie of the
Week after scoring and adding an assist in the Bulldogs' 3-1 win
over Harvard... Also had a goal and an assist against Rhode Island.
Before Yale: A New England Prep School All Star at
the Taft School... Member of the Connecticut Olympic Development
Program... Played for the Oakwood Soccer Club... Ran track at Taft,
competing in the 200 and 400-meter dashes... Captain of both the
soccer and track teams. Coach Tompkins
says: "Jon's offensive presence was missed last
season, and we are excited to have his speed and skill back in the
lineup this fall."
