Jon Carlos Named Ivy League Player of the Week

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Jon Carlos, who scored twice and added an assist in Yale's 4-3 overtime victory over Columbia on Saturday, was named the Ivy League Player of the Week.
With the Bulldogs trailing 3-2, Carlos scored his second goal of the game with just 1:42 left in the second half. He also scored late in the first half, which gave Yale a 2-1 lead, and assisted on the Bulldogs' first goal.
Carlos, a Southbury, Conn., native, has appeared in all 16 games this season and is fourth on the team in scoring with six points. He was an honorable mention All-Ivy selection last year as a freshman.
The Bulldogs close out the season Friday at Brown at 8 p.m. The game will be televised live by the Fox Soccer Channel.
