NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Yale men's soccer team is ranked 22nd in the nation by the NSCAA in its Nov. 10 poll. The Bulldogs are 9-6-1 overall and play their regular season finale on Saturday at Princeton at 4 p.m. With a victory on Saturday, Yale would reach the 10-win plateau for the fifth time in Brian Tompkins' eight years as head coach. The Bulldogs also are ranked second in New England by the NSCAA.
Yale tied 11th-ranked Brown 1-1 on Saturday, but the Bears clinched the Ivy League's automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament and can win the league title outright with a victory Saturday vs. Dartmouth. Yale must win at Princeton and hope Brown falls to Dartmouth to earn a share of the Ivy title.
