No. 2 Yale Edges No. 6 Cornell 5-4
NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The No. 2 Yale men's squash team improved to 4-0 on the season with a 5-4 win over No. 6 Cornell Saturday afternoon at the Brady Squash Center.
The Bulldogs went 3-0 in the first round of matches, with wins from junior Richard Dodd at No. 3, sophomore Neil Martin at No. 6 and sophomore Charlie Wyatt at No. 9. The Big Red closed the gap with wins at the No. 1 and No. 2 spots, along with victories at No. 4 and No. 8, as the match wore on for four hours. Yale ultimately prevailed behind wins from senior Ryan Dowd at No. 5 and senior Robert Berner at No. 7.
Yale hosts Columbia and Williams Sunday.
