The Yale men's squash team certainly seems comfortable at the top. The No. 1 Bulldogs disposed of No. 13 Navy 7-2 in Annapolis Saturday in their first action since being proclaimed the nation's top squad.

The Elis ruined the Midshipmen's senior day, in large part due to the efforts of their own seniors, Robby Berner, captain Ryan Dowd, and John Roberts, all of whom grabbed convincing wins.

At No. 1, junior Kenneth Chan won handily 3-0, a win made more important by the fact that classmate Hywel Robinson, playing the two, was forced to retire in his second game with a foot injury.

Ricky Dodd made it two out of three for the trio of juniors at the top of the Yale ladder with his 3-0 win at No. 3. Though Roberts and Berner each dropped a game, their wins at the No. 4 and No. 7 spots, respectively teamed with sweep wins by Dowd at the No. 5, Samuel Clayman at No. 8, and Eric Caine at the No. 9 to give the Elis the comfortable victory.

With the win, the Bulldogs send their record to 11-0 and gain momentum heading into next weekend, one of the team's most challenging this season. Yale will travel to No. 3 Princeton and No. 10 Penn before matches with No. 7 Dartmouth and No. 5 Harvard round out the regular season slate.
