PRINCETON, N.J. —Yale senior Neil Martin was named to the All-Ivy Squash Team Wednesday in an announcement from the League office. The senior out of Belfast, Ireland, played mostly No. 1 for the Bulldog team that took third place at the CSA Team Championships.
Martin played in every match of the season, suiting up 17 times for the No. 1 position and appearing at Nos. 2 and 3 once each. He went 9-7 in the regular season (9-10 overall) and 2-0 when not in the No. 1 slot. His biggest win came against Trinity on Jan. 22, when he defeated Miled Zarazua in four games. In February, Martin appeared at the CSA Individual Championships for the third straight season.
Harvard's Ali Farag earned Player of the Year after winning his second straight Individual Championship and leading his team to Ivy League and CSA titles. Rookie of the Year went to Harvard's Dylan Murray.
