NEW HAVEN, Conn.—After a successful weekend of travel that left them with two wins and a 5-0 record overall, the No. 8 Yale men's squash team will hit the road again this weekend for its first Ivy League matches of the season. Yale is scheduled to take on No. 5 Penn on Saturday and No. 7 Princeton on Sunday.
Penn (5-1) has not seen any Ivy League opponents yet this season, but has had success thus far this season with full sweeps over Franklin & Marshall, the University of Virginia and Williams College.
In November's Ivy League Scrimmages, Yale came up short in an extremely close 5-4 match with Penn. Saturday's match will be a chance for the Bulldogs to show the improvements they have made since the scrimmages as they fight to maintain their undefeated record.
On Sunday, Yale will see Princeton (5-1) in New Jersey. The Tigers have also seen success in their early season with wins against Franklin & Marshall, George Washington, Williams, Drexel and the University of Virginia.
The coming weekend will be a big step for the Bulldogs, but one they are certainly ready to take.
Yale will compete at in Philadelphia on Saturday and Princeton, N.J. on Sunday. Both competitions will begin at 12:00 p.m.
