NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Despite showing signs of fatigue, the Elis (4-0, 2-0 Ivy) managed to take care of business Sunday afternoon, defeating Williams 8-1 at the Brady Squash Center.
Max Samuel cruised in his match at No. 4, defeating Bernard Yaros 9-3, 9-3, 9-3. Nick Chirls, coming off of a tough loss against Dartmouth on Saturday, rebounded with a dominant win at No. 2 over Tony Maruca, 9-0, 9-5, 9-2
"Our men were a little flat, but took care of business," head coach Dave Talbott said. "We're in really good shape with all the training we've done."
Yale's only loss was at No. 6, where Andrew Vinci fell to Tyler Kyle in four games.
The Bulldogs return to action when they host Ivy League rival Cornell (1-4, 0-3) on Jan. 21
