Bulldogs Beat Big Red, 8-1

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - Yale improved to 6-0 on the season Saturday morning, beating Cornell at the Brady Squash Center by the score of 8-1. Six of the eight Bulldog wins came in three games.

At No. 2, Aaron Fuchs continued his solid play thus far this season, defeating Steve Peivin, 3-1 (9-5, 4-9, 9-5, 9-0).

No. 3 John Fulham and No. 4 Francis Johnson each took care of their opponents in three games. Fulham downed Will Hartigan, 9-4, 9-6, 9-0 and Johnson handled Mckay Claghorn, 9-0, 9-5, 9-7.

Seniors Ho Ming Chiu and Moshe Sarfaty also scored impressive wins. No. 6 Chiu defeated Amar Gupta, 3-0 (9-4, 9-4, 9-2) and No. 7 Sarfaty beat Chris Vernick, 3-0 (9-3, 9-3, 10-8).

Wins at the bottom of the ladder came from No. 8 Colin Campbell, who defeated Omar Mangalji, 3-0 (9-3, 9-5, 9-4) and No. 9 Ethan Oetter, who downed Andrew McReynolds, 3-0 (9-3, 9-3, 9-1).
