Ithaca, NY - The No. 3 ranked Elis (5-0, 3-0 Ivy) continued to roll on Saturday, defeating the Big Red 8-1 in Ithaca, N.Y. For the second consecutive day, captain Gavin Cumberbatch battled to a five-game victory.

Elsewhere, the Bulldogs relinquished only three games, defeating the Big Red by a combined score of 20-3 in the match's other seven contests. Junior Julian Illingworth continued to dominate his opponents, finishing the weekend without dropping a game, as his opponent Matt Serediak retired after two games.

"The men are really taking care of business as we try to get ready for Trinity on Wednesday," head coach Dave Talbott said.

Yale was scheduled to face Hobart Saturday afternoon, but the match was cancelled due to inclement weather. The Bulldogs face their toughest test of the season on Wednesday, when they travel to Hartford to face the No. 1 ranked Bantams.
