Bulldogs Shut Out Bears 9-0

NEW HAVEN, Conn. - The Bulldogs bounced back after losing to the Tigers last Saturday and improved to 13-2 this season with a 9-0 victory over Brown Saturday at home. Yale did not drop a single game in the victory.

At No. 1, sophomore John Fulham rolled to a 9-2, 9-1, 9-1 win over Adrian Leanaza. Playing No. 2, junior Todd Ruth cruised to a 9-3, 9-0, 9-3 victory over Benjamin Clayman. Senior Francis Johnson lost only one point in his 9-0, 9-0, 9-1 win at No. 3 over Adam Greenberg.

Playing No. 4 for the Bulldogs, senior Colin Campbell pulled out the 9-1, 9-1, 10-8 win over Brad Thompson. Sophomore Christopher Plimpton won 9-1, 9-2, 9-1 over Patrick Davis at No. 5. At the No. 6 position, William Hatch lost only one point in his 9-0, 9-0, 9-1 victory.

At the No. 7 position, Michael Maruca cruised to a 9-1, 9-1, 9-0 victory over William Bryan. Senior captain Ethan Oetter won 9-1, 9-1, 9-6 at the No. 8 spot. Junior Russell Feldman won 9-5, 9-4, 9-1 at No. 9.
