Bulldogs Blast Bears, 9-0

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Bulldogs rebounded nicely after last week's loss to Princeton, easily handling Brown in Providence on Saturday, 9-0. Yale dropped just three games in the win.

After falling in the first game of his match with Patrick Davis at No. 7, 9-6, captain Moshe Sarfaty rolled through the final three games, 9-7, 9-3, 9-1. No. 2 Max Samuel and No. 8 Colin Campbell each won tough third games to close out their opponents. Samuel beat Adam Greenberg, 3-0 (9-4, 9-1, 10-8) and Campbell downed Alex Heitzmann, 3-0 (9-6, 9-0, 10-8).

Two of Yale's freshmen scored the most dominant victories of the day. No. 3 John Fulham beat Ross Harrow, 3-0 (9-1, 9-1, 9-0) and No. 9 Naishadh Lalwani defeated Chester Hall, 3-0 (9-1, 9-0, 9-0).

The Elis will square off with Harvard this Wednesday at 5 p.m. in their final regular-season match. The match will be broadcast live online via Yale All*Access.
