NEW HAVEN, Conn. - After a loss to Harvard yesterday in the semifinals of the Ivy Scrimmage, Yale recovered to take third in the team's opening exhibition by beating Penn 6-3, while the Crimson edged Princeton 7-2 to take first place.

The Bulldogs' bottom four was strong against the Quakers on Sunday, as No. 6 Moshe Sarfaty, No. 7 Francis Johnson, No. 8 Colin Campbell and No. 9 Bill Hatch all picked up wins. No. 3 Aaron Fuchs and No. 4 Ho Ming Chiu each picked up their second win of the weekend on Sunday to lead the Bulldogs.

"After losing to Harvard 5-4 yesterday, it'll definitely be a close race for the Ivy League title this year," said Head Coach Dave Talbott.

More results to come.
