Yale Hosting CSA National Championships This Weekend

New Haven, CT - Yale's Brady Squash Center is the site of the 2004 men's Collegiate Squash Association team championships this Friday through Sunday. The three-day CSA tournament officially determines the national champion.

Yale is the No. 3 seed in the Potter Division, which includes the top collegiate teams. Trinity, winners of the last six national titles, is the top seed, followed by Harvard.

Sophomore Julian Illingworth, Yale's top-ranked player and the No. 2 person in the CSA rankings, comes into this weekend with a season record of 8-1, including wins over the top players from both Harvard and Trinity.

The Bulldogs, who also have No. 13 Anshul Manchanda and No. 17 Joshua Schwartz, begin play Friday at 1:30 p.m. against No. 6 Cornell. The championship match will be played Sunday at noon.
