NEW HAVEN, Conn.- The Yale men's swimming and diving team aims to continue its winning streak on Jan. 25 when it takes on the Fordham Rams and the Rider Broncs at the Rutgers University Aquatics Center. Rutgers has not fielded a men's swimming and diving team since 2007, but the university's expansive facility is an ideal battleground for the three teams competing on Saturday.

Yale's current streak of victories started with a first-place finish at the Bucknell Invitational on Nov. 24, and continued with victories over BU, Cornell, Dartmouth and Penn from Dec. 7 through Jan. 11.

Yale faced Fordham earlier this season at the Bucknell Invitational; the Rams finished in seventh place at the meet. Rider has won three consecutive dual meets, and Broncs senior Brian Molloy has posted the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference's fastest times in the 100, 200 and 500-yard freestyle events this season.

Saturday's meet is the Bulldogs' last competition before their much-anticipated home meet against Harvard and Princeton. Senior captain Ed Becker said that the Fordham/Rider meet is a good opportunity for his teammates to experiment with new events and compete for a spot in a particular race against Harvard and Princeton.

Races are scheduled to start at 10:30 a.m. at the Rutgers Aquatics Center in Piscataway, NJ.For those who wish to follow the meet online, live results will be posted at
