Bulldogs Receive Academic Honors with Nation’s Third Highest GPA

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Yale men's swimming and diving team received Scholar All-America Team honors from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for their academic achievements in the Fall 2016 semester.

The CSCAA All-America Team honors recognize NCAA teams that achieved a grade point average of 3.00 over the fall semester. During the past semester, the Bulldogs achieved a team-wide 3.53 GPA, ranking as the third best academic team among NCAA Division I men's teams according to CSCAA Academic All-American rankings. 

"The award is indicative of how serious the guys are about pursuing their academics at the highest level alongside the success they enjoy athletically," remarked Tim Wise, Robert J.H. Kiphuth Director of Men's Swimming and Diving. "It makes me very proud to be associated with them."
