Assistant Coach Liz Davis

Assistant Coach Liz Davis

When Liz joined Yale Swimming in 2002 she became the fourth member of the staff with prior head coaching experience. Coming from Sacred Heart University, where she was head coach for the 2001-02 season and Fairfield University the year before, Liz has joined Yale Swimming at a dynamic time. As the Bulldogs program goes through the next 3-4 years of recruiting cycles, and as the current freshmen mature in the program, Liz's 10 years of competitive swimming experience and four years of coaching experience should be significant to our current drive to have Yale Men's and Women's Swimming achieve the league championships.

A native of Williamsport, PA, Liz swam for her local YMCA and had a successful career as a competitive swimmer. In the process of qualifying for Y Nationals, she broke three school records for her high school. She is still the record holder for the 100 and 200 breaststrokes at Millersville University, where she earned a B.A. in sociology and criminology. Her husband, Marc, is an assistant coach on the Yale Track team
