Last season, as a junior, Patrick added more difficult dives to his 3-meter list and set personal best scores of a 292 on 1 m and a 337 on 3 m. He finished 11th on 1 m and 12th on 3 m at the EISL Championships in 2007; in 2006, He finished 8th on 1 m and 17th on 3 m. In 2007, Patrick qualified for the NCAA Zone meet at Rutgers, where he placed 24th on both boards. For his senior year, Hayden hopes to qualify to Zones again and finish in the top 8 on both boards at the EISL Championship. He also hope to help the team to another top 3 finish at EISLs and challenge for the top two positions. As a sophomore Patrick feels he performed strongest against non-EISL opponents, scoring a high of 264 on 1 meter at Delaware and a 253 on 3 meter at Fairfield. He finished 17th on both boards at the EISL championships. Outside of diving, Patrick is finishing up his degree in History and will be pursuing a career in investment banking following graduation. A four time league MVP and three time league champion in the Bay Colony Conference, Pat lettered all four years at Sharon High School in Massachusetts under Coach Bob Bell. He was captain of the team in both his junior and senior years. A school record holder after his junior year, Pat went on to set a league record the following year. He is also a member of the Boston Area Diving team under Coach Joe Chirico. His "key decision makers" that pointed him toward Yale for his college experience were the academics opportunities of the university, as well as the environment and location of the campus.
