Ryan enters his first year as Yale University's Diving Coach. Prior to arriving at Yale, he was the Head Diving Coach at the Schroeder YMCA in Brown Deer, WI where he coached 2 YMCA National Champions, 9 Junior National Qualifiers, 2 Junior National Finalists and 5 Senior National participants. Moehnke also coached the USA Diving Junior Pan American Team in Belem, Brazil in 2003 .

Coach Moehnke has a BS degree in General Studies of Counseling Psychology from Ball State University in Indiana where he competed for the Cardinals. Ryan was a 3-time Conference finalist and 3-time NCAA Zone Qualifier.

As an Assistant Coach at the USA Diving Regional Training Center in Indianapolis, IN, Moehnke coached both the Junior World Gold and Bronze Medallists. Ryan also was the Head Diving Coach at University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and at Indiana University-Purdue University (IUPUI) in Indianapolis.
