Drew both swam and dove for his high school, qualifying for the
Arizona state championships all four years of high school and
winning five medals. He was a four time All-American and an
Academic All-American, holding both school and state records in
diving. Additionally, as a senior, he helped lead his high school
soccer team to the State Tournament. Drew started diving at the age
of 10 with Clavadistas del Sol, representing the club in numerous
national meets. His proudest sporting moment was coming from behind
in the 200 Medley Relay in State finals to take third. He chose
Yale because of the team camaraderie and its strong tradition.
