The Yale men's swimming team could not close the gap behind Princeton and Harvard in the second day of competition in the annual Harvard-Yale-Princeton meet on Sunday. The Bulldogs fell to Harvard 252-99 and to Princeton 221-132. Harvard defeated Princeton 225-128.
The Bulldog's best individual performance came from Andrew Foss who placed second in the 200 Freestyle. Yale's 200 Freestyle relay of Foss, Tom Hardy, Geof Zann and Kieran Locke also had a strong performance, placing third in that event.
Freshman Douglas Scott finished third in the one-meter diving competition.
Yale's next meet will be next Saturday at home against Ivy rivals Brown and Columbia.
