The Yale men's swimming and diving team added two Ivy League wins to their record on Saturday afternoon after defeating both Brown (166-75) and Columbia (167-76) at the Kiputh Memorial Pool in New Haven. It was the final home meet of the year for the Bulldogs, who wrap up their regular season next week at Deleware.
The Bulldogs were led by a number of individual winners including Quinn Fitzgerald (200 & 500 Freestyle), Jeff Lichtenstein (1 meter dive), Andrew Foss (100 Freestyle), Geof Zann (200 Backstroke), and Mike Slater (200 Breaststroke). Yale ended the meet with a victory in the 400 freestyle relay by the team of Kieran Locke, Fitzgerald, Morgan Locke and Foss.
Head Coach Frank Keefe honored Yale's Class of 2005 prior to the meet. It was their last home meet of their collegiate careers. Yale's seniors include John Atkinson, Quinn Fitzgerald, Jeff Kelsey, Captain Dave Lange, Tom Lopez, Joe Mack and Robert Schotter.
Yale concludes its regular season next Saturday as they visit Delaware.
