New York, NY - Quinn Fitzgerald and Jimmy Veazey were both double winners as Yale beat Brown and Columbia in New York. The Bulldogs topped the Bears 193-95 and beat the Lions 175-121.

Fitzgerald won the 200 free with a time of 1:39.81, ahead of teammate Andrew Foss at 1:40.28. Fitzgerald also took the 500 free, finishing in 4:34.91. Foss was again right behind him (4:35.38).

Veazey's two wins came in the 200 butterfly (1:49.93) and the 100 free (:45.82). Teammate Matt Bowman finished just behind him in the 100 free (:46.11), while Lou Krasenics placed second in the 200 butterfly (1:51.72). Veazey was also a part of the 400 free relay team (with Jack Cooney, Kieran Locke and Bowman) that topped Brown in a time of 3:03.59, and the 200 medley relay team (with Alex Nash, Tom Hardy and Cooney) that topped Columbia with a time of 1:33.00.

Yale swims again at the ECAC Championships, February 26-28.
