The Yale men's swimming and diving team ended this year's regular season with a decisive 213-77 victory over the Blue Hens of Delaware this afternoon in Newark, DE. The Yale men did not lose a single race the entire meet. The Bulldogs have two post-season meets lined up, the first being the ECAC Championships to be held in two weeks, and the EISL Championships, which will be held a week following ECAC's.
The Bulldogs started off the day with a 1-2-3-4 sweep of the 200 Medley Relay. Yale's winning team included Kieran Locke, Joe Mack, Matt Thunell and Morgan Locke. Other individual winners for the Bulldogs included: Kevin Pudas (1000 Freestyle), Geof Zann (200 Freestyle), Kieran Locke (100 & 200 Backstroke), Robert Schotter (100 Breaststroke), Quinn Fitzgerald (200 Butterfly & 100 Freestyle), Matt Thunell (50 Freestyle), Mike Slater (200 Breaststroke), Kent Garber (500 Freestyle), Alex Goldsmith (100 Butterfly), Tom Hardy (200 IM), Douglas Scot (1 meter dive) and Jeff Lichtenstein (3 meter dive).
Yale's first post-season meet will be the ECAC Championships to be held at Philadelphia in two weeks. The second will be the EISL Championships to be held at Harvard the following week.
