Despite finishing in 7th out of 9 teams in the first day of EISL competition at Harvard, the Yale men's swimming and diving team came back strong in the second day of competition to jump three places in the standings, finishing in fourth after 14 events.

Yale's strongest event of the day was also the closing event. The 800 Freestyle Relay team of Andrew Foss, Kieran Locke, John Atkinson and Quinn Fitzgerald finished in third place, behind Harvard and Cornell. Fitzgerald and Foss had outstanding days in the pool, as they also finished 4th and 5th, respectively, in the 200 Freestyle.

The Bulldogs had a number of other top-ten finishers, including John Atkinson (1000 Freestyle, 6th), Mike Slater (400 IM, 8th), Billy Rubenstein (400 IM, 9th), and Kieran Locke (100 Backstroke, 9th).

Yale looks to improve in the standings again as competition concludes Saturday in the third and final day of swimming at Harvard.
