March 6, 2005

After three days of competition at the EISL Championships, the Yale men's swimming and diving team finished in fourth out of nine teams. It's the second straight fourth-place finish for the Bulldogs, who also took fourth in 2004. The Bulldogs finished behind Harvard, Princeton and Columbia, who took first, second and third, respectively.

The Bulldogs' strongest swimmer on Saturday was Ben Dzialo, who placed fourth in the 200 Butterfly. John Atkinson also had a strong day, taking 6th in the 1650 Freestyle.

Freshman Doug Scott was Yale's top diver of the meet, taking 9th place in the 3 meter event.

Yale ended competition with a seventh place finish by its 400 Freestyle relay team of Kieran Locke, Quinn Fitzgerald, Morgan Locke and Andrew Foss.
