Bulldogs Stay In Front At The Patriot Invitational

Yale stayed in the lead of the Patriot Invitational with a strong showing in day two of the three day competition. The final day of the invitational will be held tomorrow at George Mason University's Aquatic & Fitness Center.

Alex Righi took home two first place finishes on Saturday. He won the 100-yard butterfly thanks to a time of 50.34 and he finished first in the 100-yard backstroke (50.15).

Righi also teamed up with Colin O'Brady, Chris Pool and Geof Zann to finish second in the 200-yard medley relay (1:34.04).

Ben Dzialo came in second in the 100-yard butterfly (50.81), while teammate Pool finished third (50.83).

Andrew Foss finished second in the 200-yard freestyle thanks to a time of 1:40.95. Dennan McCloskey came in third in the 400-yard individual medley (4:04.02).

The invitational will end tomorrow with preliminaries starting at 9 a.m. and finals at 5 p.m.
