ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Yale men's tennis team won the doubles point and three of six singles matches to beat Maryland-Baltimote County Friday night at Navy.
The Bulldogs won doubles 2-1 on the strength of an 8-4 win from the No. 2 team of junior Calvin Bennett and freshman Marc Powers along with an 8-6 win from the No. 3 team of captain senior Connor Dawson and freshman Daniel Hoffman.
Singles wins came from Powers at No. 1 (6-1, 6-2), Hoffman at No. 3 (6-1, 7-6) and sophomore Joel Samaha at No. 5 (7-6, 6-2).
