After missing last fall season due to knee surgery Rowan bounced back to rise to the #3 position in the spring. As a sophomore Rowan compiled a 19-13 overall singles record and was 13-16 in doubles. During his sophomore and freshman years Rowan played in the #4 singles position and posted winning records in both seasons. Freshman year, partnered with Andrew Rosenfeld, Rowan alternated between #1 and #2 doubles; he was briefly nationally ranked in doubles, finished the year ranked #13 in the region and receiving All-Ivy Second-Team Doubles honors. For his freshman and sophomore years Rowan received the George A. Phelps Memorial Award as the team's most improved player. Rowan graduated cum laude and played number 1 singles for St. Albans all four years, making All-Metropolitan his junior and senior seasons.
