New Haven, CT - Milosz Gudzowksi had the lone win for Yale as the Bulldogs fell to NC State 6-1 Friday afternoon at Cullman Courts. Gudzowski topped Will Shaw 6-3, 6-4 at No. 3, but the Wolfpack took the other five singles matches, including four in straight sets. NC State also won all three doubles matches to take the doubles point, though Ryan Murphy and Brandon Wai nearly knocked off NC State's team of Shaw and Nick Cavaday at No. 1, falling 8-6.
This was the first spring match for Yale. The Bulldogs return to action next Friday, hosting Rutgers.
