Elis Fall 6-1 to No. 62 Virginia Tech

Despite winning two of three doubles matches, the Elis dropped all six singles points as they fell 6-1 to Virginia Tech on the road.
Chris Lawler and Rowan Reynolds were 8-5 winners against VT's Diankov and Wilkins, while Johnny Lu and Milosz Gudzowski bested Abbas/Sergeev in a tight 9-7 victory.
In singles, Gudzowski and Reynolds nearly picked up two more points, but ultimately fell. Gudzowski won the first set 6-1 but then dropped two 6-2 sets. Reynolds battled to a 7-5 second set but could not take it to three.
