Seniors Lead Bulldogs to 5-2 Win Over Navy

Seniors Dan Arellano and Neil Tolaney contributed some of their best matches of their collegiate careers, according to Yale Head Coach Alex Dorato, as the Bulldogs defeated Navy 5-2 at the Severn Valley Tennis and Fitness Club. The win improved Yale to 6-2 and dropped Navy to 8-2 on the season.
The Bulldogs had some trouble in their doubles matches, but were able to earn a win in the No. 1 doubles position as Ryan Murphy and Brandon Wai picked up the victory.
Playing at the No. 5 position, senior Tolaney won his match 6-3, 6-1, while his teammate Arellano was victorious in a 7-6, 6-2 match. It was the first match Arellano had played since September 20th due to injury.
The Bulldogs return home to take on No. 58 New Mexico on March 4th.
