The Yale men's tennis team fell to San Diego State, 5-2, in San Diego, Calif., on Saturday afternoon. Yale's doubles team of Ryan Murphy and Brandon Wi won in the No. 1 position, while Rowan Reynolds and Milosz Gudzowski won in singles action for the Bulldogs, who fell to 7-8 on the season.
Murphy and Wi defeated Felix Hardt and Daniel Jung 8-6. At the No. 4 position, Reynolds defeated Dontia Haynes in straight sets, 7-5, 6-4. Gudzowski won 7-6, 3-6 (10-8) at the number-five position.
Yale returns to action to host Virginia Tech, on March 28, at 10:30 a.m.
