One day after upsetting Cornell, the Bulldogs completed the Ivy League weekend sweep with a 5-2 victory over Columbia. Andrew Rosenfeld, Brandon Wai, and Rowan Reynolds all pulled off straight set victories.
Rosenfeld defeated Rajeev Emany 6-1, 6-0 at the No. 2 position, while No. 3 Brandon Wai was a 6-2, 6-1 victor over Yoku Kiuchi.
Rowan Reynolds was Yale's third straight set winner, besting Columbia's Jimmy Moore 6-2, 6-4.
At No. 6, David Goldman pulled out a three-set win over Michael Accordino, splitting the first two sets 6-2, 1-6 then battling to a close 7-6 third set win.
In doubles, the Bulldogs' pair of Ryan Murphy and Rowan Reynolds fell at the No. 1 position 8-6 to Rohan Saikia and Akshay Rao, but Yale's other two doubles teams won to give the Elis the doubles point. Rosenfeld and Goldman defeated Scott Robbin and Moore 8-4, while Wai and Chris Lawler were 8-6 winners over Vinay Bhamidipatti and Marty Moore.
The Elis are now 2-2 in the Ivy League and will host Dartmouth at 2:30 on Friday.
